Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grypes (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Grypes. By registering, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Account Registration

  • You may register using a valid email address.
  • You will select a public nickname. Your email address is never displayed publicly.
  • You may sign in using a password you create or a one-time magic link sent to your email.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.

4. Public Content and Pseudonymity

  • Content you post (“grypes”) is public and may be indexed by search engines.
  • You may post under your nickname or as Anonymous.
  • Pseudonymity is not a guarantee of absolute anonymity. We explain limitations in our Privacy Policy.
  • Do not post content that could identify you if you wish to remain pseudonymous.

5. Acceptable Use

Grypes welcomes strong opinions, criticism, humor, profanity, political discussion, and disagreement. We do not remove lawful content based on viewpoint.

Prohibited content includes:

  • Credible threats of violence or incitement to imminent lawless action
  • Doxxing (publishing private personal information of others)
  • Targeted harassment or stalking
  • Impersonation of others
  • Spam, phishing, or malware
  • Copyright-infringing material
  • Unlawful content

6. Moderation

  • We may review, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
  • Moderation decisions are based on these rules, not viewpoint.
  • You may appeal moderation decisions by contacting info@grypes.com.

7. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on Grypes infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@grypes.com including identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing material URL, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your signature. We will respond to valid notices by removing or disabling access to the material.

8. Intellectual Property

  • You retain rights to content you post.
  • By posting, you grant Grypes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your public content on the Platform.
  • Respect others’ intellectual property rights.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRYPES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform.
